Although just recently becoming a licensed agent, Michael Robinson has had almost 20 years’ experience in supporting the improvement of New Orleans through organizing neighborhood, personal financial coaching and increasing home ownership. Specifically in the Uptown area, he has worked extensively with neighborhoods to tract public opinions, foster hospitality and understand housing changes. Additionally, Michael has worked with families to improve their financial situation and sought out additional resources they need to accomplish their goals. His unique knowledge of the affordable housing network and other non-traditional programs, provides you with options not commonly known by most agents. He has served for many years on a board that supports parks and recreations for three Uptown parks.
Michael has spent his entire adult life as a New Orleanian. While attending Xavier University, he became engaged and integrated in the community working with at-risk youths. He lives, volunteers, works and worships within the same neighborhood. Michael has a 12 year old son and both play the trumpet and trombone. While seeing the dramatic change caused by Hurricane Katrina, He works tirelessly to empower the venerable and disenfranchised.
