My journey in life, as well as my love for teaching, learning, travelling and servicing clients has allowed me to acquire vital skills I can offer as your Realtor
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I have been afforded more opportunities than one would imagine for a child growing up in the 60's and 70's. Our family's love of travel led me to forming a travel business with my mother, arranging group trips to over forty foreign countries. These experiences served me well later when booking and travelling throughout Europe and South America for local musicians for C.J. Chenier, Rockin' Doopsie and Walter "Wolfman" Washington, to name a few.
DeLinda's School of Dance would be my next venture, but after years of teaching ballet, I was still yearning for more. On a family trip to Las Vegas, I enrolled in the University of Nevada. Upon graduation, I returned to Louisiana and worked for DeVry/Bell & Howell helping high school seniors enroll in the computer schools.
Serving our teaching community by marketing retirement savings created a desire to earn an insurance and securities license. I began a 25-year career showing teachers how to save retirement money over and above Teachers' Retirement. It is a fact that some teachers never personally meet or have the opportunity to meet a person to assist them with finances. I met them at the school. This filled me with great joy and pride. Today, I continue to service these clients who were teachers, cafeteria workers, custodians, and all support personnel enabling them to save and retire with a nice nest egg.
Becoming a Realtor® has always been on my radar and has now become a reality. Backed by Gardner Realtors, a 77-year-old company here in the greater New Orleans and Gulf Coast area, I will certainly keep on track. I look forward to helping you find your NEW home. Let's look together.
